I talked with my swim coach, Rob, who also works with a swim lesson program called Bluefin. I was hoping to do lessons in conjunction with them, but they don't start until mid-winter. Rob also said that if I taught during open swim I would be covered by the school's insurance. I emailed Ms. Parry to confirm that and am still waiting for a reply. We also discussed sending an email to kids in nearby schools advertising the lessons. Moving forward, my goals are to get some experience teaching swim lessons, and write lesson plans.
